Sponsor terms (DRAFT)

  1. Supplier: Maker & Room Co (sole trader, Qld). ABN 98 499 397 601 GST_STATUS_TBC
  2. Labelling (ACCC / Australian Consumer Law): all paid placements are clearly labelled "Sponsored" on the site and in emails and use rel="sponsored". Sponsors must not ask us to remove or hide the label.
  3. No editorial influence: payment does not buy editorial coverage, rankings or positive statements.
  4. Creative: we may reject or edit creative that is misleading, unlawful, or unsuitable. Sponsors must be able to substantiate claims (no false or misleading claims, ACL s18, s29).
  5. Scheduling: spots run for the period purchased; we may reschedule with notice. Weeks are limited to avoid overselling.
  6. Refunds: REFUND_POLICY_TBC Nothing here limits consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian law.
  7. Reporting: we will report only real, measured figures, if any.
  8. Email: newsletter placements go only to subscribers who opted in (Spam Act 2003 (Cth)). We don't send sponsor emails to third-party lists.
  9. Payments: via Stripe. Payment details are handled by Stripe.
  10. Governing law: Queensland, Australia.
